TBH on the Saturday there won't be a lot happening other than the picnic convoy, a meal in the evening oh and maybe the odd ale or two consumed/natter. Sunday is a much busier day when most car's/people turn up, I would imagine that unless you want to go on/see the convoy/camp overnight then Sunday will provide more interest for the majority.

I would certainly like to see the convoy on the Saturday :D
How large is the event? Could everything be taken in on one day or would we say it deserves two?

Toby, you're more than welcome to tag along in my Xant or follow each other up :)

I sense a Xantia convoy behind the DS/SMs

I would be up for meeting some of you guys and travelling in together...

As for the day, i definately want to be there on the sunday if thats the main day, it would be good however weather permitting to stay over on the saturday night and travelling with the DS's etc 8)

Also it would give me time to show prep the Xantia for the next day

All of the above is dependant of course on me not having forgotten a non escapable family event

Seems as if Sunday's the day :D :D , i'll need to do a bit of work to get my car anywhere near presentable, as its a 24/7 building site/work car  , so don't expect any miracles   .
Anyway it'll be good to put some faces to the names on the forum ..
Paul...................
P.S. here's a couple of "finds" from a local garage, they belong to an old bloke who collects Citroens, apparently he's got about 60, inc about 20 DS's

So, it looks like he's the one with the most Citroens if he's collecting them and has that many!

Well fatherjack2002 does that mean you will have a, "DRINK!" on the Sunday!

So although it's a DS & SM rally it looks like a few others will be there, including several Xantias.

Although there also looks like there might be several Activas attending, how many are turning up?

Ironically, I think there will be more Activas attending the DS SM rally than when a few of us met up at the all Citroen Midland section rally (only Jims) last year

Im really looking forward to the SMs 8) and putting all these names to faces :D

I asked that out of curiosity, and because I might also attend which would be in the Activa. 8) I did attend the French Car Show previously, and like Citrojim found it to be too much of a Barry Boy orintated event, by that I mean I was not expecting a Maxy P(ower)ants type of show.

So, given the fact that there will be a lot of FCF members at the DS/SM rally, and several Xantias, including the lesser spotted rarer Activa can we also persuade XantiaMan583 to join us, as this could be the best opportunity for the greatest number of us to get together, and not only would it be good to see & enjoy the DS & SMs, but it could be a good achievement to get what will possibly be the most Activas at one meet.

So, please XantiaMan583 will you join in, & add yourself to the growing number attending?

Well the paint on the DS is looking better than the CX, which will require a lot of elbow grease to get the shine back.
