Getting closer - it ought to have paint in a week.

Xsara would have been raw fun, but the lure of plushness and known low miles remained too strong.
I've been ripped off a good slice on the repair, though - $4K on a donor car that was only good for windscreen, radiator surround/fan, bumper, front chassis clip and airbags/belts. $900 through a UK supplier who only sent goods (and still left me £150 shy) when a third party put a rocket up them. New tin for the front was reasonable by local prices - about $2000.
