My 2001 X reg non-activa
has a flap fitted as standard - the radio is a standard fit DIN unit (knicked from Pug?) rather than the oversize jobbie that used to be fitted. I junked the original radio though as it didn't have a code and I wanted a CD player. Getting in the mass of wiring and box of tricks that makes the steering wheel controls work with the replacement was a challenge, and means that sometimes the flap won't stay down
One of the list of jobs to do is to rationalise the wiring a bit....

If you've got the space to park it when you're driving something more sensible, and you KNOW it will probably cost you a few quid to keep it at it's best, go for it. The Activa is an incredibly talented car.

You know the old saying, careful for what you wish for...
well, I bought that 56k mile V6 24v Xantia at Xmas and feel a tad disappointed.
OK, it IS brilliant BUT somehow I was expecting MORE!! Not sure exactly what
but I can't wait to get behind the wheel of my Activa!! Yes, truly!
There's nothing wrong with the car and the engine and gearbox are effeortless
and smooth and the growl of the engine is fantastic - it's just I don't seem to
get on with the autobox and much prefer manuals! Do'h. Why did they lumber
ALL UK v6's with an autobox when the Pug 406 is a manual?
So. In my personal road test with an Activa back to back with a 24v Exclusive
I'd go for the Activa!! Time will tell but the Activa blew me away immediately
after purchasing it but the V6 hasn't - maybe it's more a 'grower'?
Anyone else here with both a 24v and an Activa back to back?
