I thought all X2's came with that flippy cover?

Once made the mistake of resting the mobile phone on it as a handy tray while driving. A solid "bump" and the lid gracefully folded up, trapping the phone - which then slipped sideways to the bottom of the cover and excluded it from opening again...

All this directly on the way to a Citroën club meeting! I asked for help from a few of the experts, but aside from it being dark the interior was stripped out as well - driver's seat only; no carpets or plastic interior trims plus the door wiring for one unit was laying on the floor. So there were many questions from curious parties about all that, rather than helping disentangle the phone and stereo cover.

Got it out later on at home, using an engineer's rule to position the phone while opening the cover.
