Due to the poor weather forecast for Saturday, I'm more than likely to arrive Sunday morning in my gold VSX.

I'll be easy to spot as I'll have with me possibly the largest Airedale in the world that just so happens to have the smallest brain

Will there be an area we can all park our cars and have a little Xantia gathering?

Now confirmed. Coming down from Merrrrseyside this avvy, and staying in Peterbourogh Travel Inn overnight with 'the mob'

Mine will be the dark blue Xantia X reg, VSX alloys with a slightly darker tailgate with spolier than the rest of the car following my little indiscretion with the runaway Jimny 3 weeks ago.

Might be an idea to put our usernames on a bit of paper on the windscreen 'ticket holder' p'raps?
I'll do mine anyway.

How many cars are going to be on display btw, and is their much to do to keep the missus and daughter happy, you know, horsey type nonsense and the like?

Hope to meet some of you anyway, as I'll be cooking up some grub and coffee behind the car during the day.8)

S'pose I'd better go and wash the damned thing now.

Excellent Colin :D Great to hear you will be there and looking forward to seeing you.

That's a good idea about a slip of paper in the ticket holder with our names on them

Have a good trip down here...

No problem Jim. Can't wait to see a gaggle of Xantia's altogether.

If this is successful, we'll seriously be having to consider this little trip to the Citroen museum outside Paris that was talked about a few weeks ago.

Anyway, I'll shove this computer in the boot for you to fix while I'm there.

Changing to o2 btw. Just about had my fill with AOhelL

If they are into animals then its ideal http://www.woodgreen.org.uk/home.asp

I clicked on 'The animals', then 'field animals' and for a few minutes I thought I saw SWIMBO

Can't make this one but would like to go to another event further north if and when there is one. Is there one in the North West or Midlands during the Summer? Where do we have to look to find? Is it via the Citroen Car Club?

Get yerself down there fellah. It's only about 170 miles from Macc. i think.

Thanks for that link Dickie. It'd be fatal sending the daughter in there.
I'd need to bring a trailer with me to carry all the lonely strays back home.
I fear plenty of tears and pleas from her.

The next CCC rally is the Midlands one @ Stratford Upon Avon race course between 29-31st August, this is quite a bit smaller but usually has a reasonable attendance with auto-jumble etc.

Alternatively over the wall is the Scottish rally @ Galashiels between the 1st-3rd August.

I hope to be there by 11am, good news for me is that SWIMBO has managed to get the day off work so she'll be looking after our daughter and dog leaving me to enjoy the day without hassle :D
