Thanks Jim . I`ve hosed it out fom every orifice now so any water that lies in block should be clean water. As for awkward places to get into.......Vive La France ........Vive la differance!!.....excuse the French!

I just wasted 10 minutes of my life looking for the block drain plug so I disconnected the nearest accessable hose but it only released half a litre.
It wasn't worth the bother IMO.
On that distribution block I noticed there's a very soft rubber "cap" on one spigot, presumably this is for a feature my car doesn't have, but what, I'm intrigued?
