I hate my Xantia - Strut mount gone...

Sorry Malcolm -
You can NOT compare DK and UK pricetags on cars.
What we (have to !) accept as a fair price - you would say it's ridicolous.
My present runner '89 BX16 cost me £600 2 y's ago - add approx £350 in spares and welder for a MOT. Totals some £950.
- for a dirty runabout with quite a few niggles still.
A 10y old fair Xantia is still well over £2500.

cough cough spluter spluter arm and ten legs then,do you want an L reg axntia with head gasket gone or cracked head,i will let you have it at a bargain price of just £2000 you just have to add shipping regards malcolm

I think I`m set on changing the strut mount, now i just need dry weather and the replacement part, guess I`ll make a visit to the local scrap yard. I`m hpoing for dry weather later next week.
Then I can at least move it again.

I have seen the amazing Xantia prices in Denmark....phew"! You can (and I now have two) buy these 1995 TD cars for about £400-£600 in the North West England. In reasonable condition with over 100k on the clock. I have seen them on E Bay quite often for these prices.
I believe a pint is also very expensive in Denmark!
