Have you any filters Jim? A darker sky would make it more dramatic.
You may be able to fiddle that with The GIMP.

Yes, it was one day when I really needed either a yellow or red filter Steve! I have ones for all my Canon lenses but none for my Zuiko or Pentax lenses...
A bit of dodging and burning might do the trick - I shall have a play
The image I posted was straight out of the tank with no post-processing whatsoever

I think, technically, that might be a sunset at Brighton as a starling murmuration normally occurs around sunset

They must have been very keen watchers, began watching at sunset on solstice-eve and didn't give up 'till they'd taken in the sunrise too

And there was I thinking, at first glance, the murmuration was a fingerprint on the negative...

Re: Picture(s) of the day....
With family yesterday and playing in the background was some Christmas tunes... On came 'Band Aid'. I hate that track with a passion, almost as much as John Lennon's dirgy full-on depressing go slit your throat 'So this is Christmas' or whatever it's called.
This set off a memory of a comedy version of 'Band Aid'. I couldn't remember what it was called, only it had the lyric 'There's a Chav outside my window..' somewhere in it...
I popped that lyric into Google and got this from the AI ...
We did laugh
Here's the song:
FWIW, my all-time favourite Christmas track is 2000 Miles by the Pretenders...

Maybe this would suit you better Jim, it's a excerpt from the full show I saw on TV last evening, The children of Nagasaki in this part.
