From the central emblem up the radiator grill I'd say that is a quinze! The Onze is more like a straight towery badge as opposed to that two badgey version:
11
11
15
15
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!

I think you are right, chrome chevrons and its LHD so highly unlikely its Slough built. The more I looked for information the more confused I got about the various versions and designations, a 11 in France might be a 15 in Slough, or not. It was revolutionary, monocoque, front wheel drive etc. and the later ones had rear suspension that later saw life on both ends of the ID and DS, and the rear of Rolls Royce Silver Shadows. I did stumble on a facsinating factoid - one bit of it won some F1 races. When John Cooper was building his rear engined F1 cars he needed a transaxle to fit to the Coventry Climax engine, the only one light enough and the right way up to keep the engine low was from the Traction :)

Steve has posted a video on the Pickled Egg Jukebox thread which contains some beautiful still images which deserve an airing on here. So even if you mute the music it is worth watching for the pictures: viewtopic.php?p=856067#p856067 :-D

Make your wishes now ;) Mine's for a brand-new old-stock Series 1 AX GT that has been forgotten about and found languishing in a dusty corner of an old Citroen dealer's showroom...

Spotted this one on my travels... I believe it's a Nissan Note and is trying to fight a rapidly loosing battle against rampant vegetation :o

Although I have absolutely no natural talent for it, I do try the odd bit of creative photography from time to time. Usually it's an epic fail

This was a surprising exception

It was taken to test a camera I'd repaired only a day before I went away on holiday. As I didn't know for sure if the camera was good, I loaded it with cheap film.

The photo was taken from an accommodation crossing on the railway. Camera was an Olympus OM10 with a 50mm Zuiko f1.8 lens. Film was Kentmere Pan 400 pushed to 800 ASA and developed in Ilfotec LC29.

I want to print this poster-size and properly frame it ;) Of all the photos I took on holiday, it's one of my favourites :D

And I know the camera is good except that it needs new light seals.
