drill bits!

I hope you're going to prove your skills and hand grind them back into exactly the right shape and profile on a bench grinder Shouldn't be too dificult............ to get at least one spot on

I'm definitely going to have a go! It is a set of 99 (lots of small ones then decreasing numbers up to a couple of 8 mm and a couple of 10 mm) - by the time I've done the lot I'll at least be well practiced or certain I'm useless at it!

The larger sizes have managed "generally pointy" but looks like room for improvement.

AMAZING WHAT YOU CAN GET ON A XANTIA ROOF RACK

After my Xantia cut out and was reluctant to re-start, a quick under bonnet check revealed no ghastly horrors and on another attempt to re-start she fired up …I had caused a minor traffic jam and driver’s were testing their horns at me so I pulled into the next ‘lay-by’ to allow the furious drivers past in case it cut out again …low and behold a photo opportunity I could not ignore …
2 days after Darlington had celebrated the 200th anniversary of the ‘birth of the modern railway’ there was 78018 Borough of Darlington on a low loader ready for transportation … I know there’s a few train enthusiasts hiding amongst the Citroen enthusiasts on here so ….here you go a double helping for you

Drill sharpener? (Link went a bit awry - I'm not yet on Temu so I'd to politely decline again and again - but a drill sharpener was top of the page) I've a nice twin wheel (coarse and fine) grindstone sat in the garage, I just need to improve my abilities with it really!

Ah yes, rough those 1.5mm drill bits down to their approximate profile with the coarse wheel, then buff and shine them with the fine one. Easy peasy

To get it right even for the larger sizes requires a lot of skill, near enough isn't good enough.
