I've completed my first father's day jigsaw puzzle, a 1000 piece Marvel Characters puzzle!

I'm only celebrating it because it's all down hill from here, in fifty years time I'll probably struggle to do a 4 piece puzzle. Or I'll be in prison for killing anyone next father's day who even thinks of buying me one!!!

I've never completed a jigsaw puzzle in my life and plan to maintain that record for at least the next fifty years. To be honest, a four-piece one is about my limit most of the time

Jim, from what you described about the AX dashboard plastic becoming very brittle, I think you need to get building them jigsaw skills! Transferable skills there!

If you can tolerate it, let that cat be a regular visitor. The smell of a cat in a house can deter rats from setting up home in a house.
