She started off buying 10 sachets a month or so to feed our, then, three hedgehogs, that was 6 years ago, now we have a pair of foxes with their three cubs, the cat and unsurprisingly no hedgehogs!!

The cat, miniature thing though she is, chases the foxes if they come when she is there. They are a right cowardly bunch!!

Re: Picture(s) of the day....
I watched one of those hospital documentaries earlier this week, one of the patients was there because she'd been seriously mauled by her panicking cat when a fox came too close, she was bitten and scratched all over and had to have intravenous antibiotics to clear the resultant infections.

Re: Picture(s) of the day....
The day at Thruxton started with a walk round the auction before they imposed entry conditions of catalogue only (£50 no less!) and I made up my mind that I would go for:
as all the rest were too flash for me. Even:
which sported a reserve well beyond me!!
I will report back on those in due course.
We then went and settled down in the grandstand equipped to suffer stifling heat and hard seats!! Fortunately we were soon relieved of the first hassle as this weather belt moved in:
I put the camera away during the racing as I know from experience that having the camera up and running, while taking some excellent shots, results in not following the live action and losing touch with the races!
Once we needed a break we went for a stroll round the paddock where we came across this perfect candidate for Jim's new car:
Unfortunately, despite him no doubt falling in love with it, it won't be a practical proposition as the suspension control equipment leaves little room for a bike:
Being some what knackered I'll leave the pictures to tell the rest of the day:
