Very true!

Jim, you might want to check what variant your daffodils are when they start blooming. The RHS had an item on the BBC Breakfast this week about daffodils, and how they want to track down any of the rare varieties.

Saw that James but sadly, mine aren't - a job-lot of B and Q specials bought on special near the end of the planting season. There's tulips to come too - if they grow... I struggled when I planted them as it was not clear which end was which so they may have ended up being planted upside-down...

Our mural celebrating one of our town legends has had a small addition following the building it's painted on having gained a new lease of life

The building, once slated for demolition in favour of the inevitable housing development on the site, has been nicely renovated and is back to being what it always was - a garage/car dealership

As a town, we're very happy about this... We need more housing development like a fish needs an ashtray...
