I was picking up a folding bicycle for my Mum (at Tyle Mill), when this little aerobatic bird was catching insects for its young in the nest under the swing bridge.

Didn't realise that mushrooms grew on trees.
Saves bending down to pick them.

I don't think you'll find them very edible Steve ;) I believe they're a species of bracket fungi...

No Choo Choo, but a fair bit aitichooo! For me today,
Hoovering the muck (following roof replacement) off the top of the insulation. Mucky job. About a third completed. More tomorrow weather and enthusiasm dependant!
