Well that's a Job for tomorrow then.....thanks you for spotting it. I will look at the reflectors when I do it.

Do you know if the lens can be removed without removing the shell ?

Thanks for the comments Jim :)

Probably not a good idea. It is important that the seal sits properly for waterproofing.

Yes, that’s true ;)

I'm keen to do this mod on my own Activa now too.. Will be keen to look at yours in a couple of weeks and see exactly how you've done it...

Very useful mod! I never understood why the Xm had it and the Xsara too but not the Xantia.

As both Xm and Xsara were owned by us at the same time I did not think about it when I bought my Xantia V6 Exclusive. It scared me every time I opened the bonnet and got surprised by gravity....

The difficulty is the clearance when laid down between the strut spheres and the wing edge....with a spacer the bonnet brackets from the RR fitted to the Xantia wing (under) allow the ram to lay flat with about 4mm of clearance and still be above the supply pipe. :)....it is a tight fit.
I also wanted a near vertical lift on the bonnet and did not want the rams getting in the way of side access hence the rear (of the wing) fitting.

Another Angle that shows it better

Rams on both sides, or just the right hand side? I don't need it myself (as the C5 has the rams), just asking for others thinking of making that mod.
