Re: I am an Activa owner...a V6 and I am an addict
Unless the headlights have been changed, they'll still be LHD dip patterns ? Ideally they should be changed for RHD types...

One would presume it wouldn't have got an MOT without the correct headlights..

Yep changed with a RHD car.....these came off a 1998 car so I had presumed they were the later type.

I might have been misled by artifacts in the .jpg. The early lenses have a rectangular pattern to the fluting, the later ones, more of a diamond pattern. I have seen later cars with early lenses fitted as replacements. The early lenses illuminate the footpath nicely, but not so much the road ahead.

Re: I am an Activa owner...a V6 and I am an addict
Just cleaned them with a brush (wheels off) and sprayed a little "detailer" spray. I have resprayed stone chip and clear underbody wax (Dinatrol) last year into the subframe ect so the surface cleans up well.xantiamanic wrote:What's the coating on the rear wheel arch inners and subframe?

I would say it looks like new, but I do not want to get sworn at, so I will say it looks like how new SHOULD have been!

Re: I am an Activa owner...a V6 and I am an addict
The RH lens (at the left of the photo) still looks like an early one to me. Can you see, looking at the actual car, that the pattern over the dip lights is the same on both sides?Stickyfinger wrote:Does this help ?xantia_v6 wrote:I might have been misled by artifacts in the .jpg. Re: I am an Activa owner...a V6 and I am an addict
Those are all late lenses except for the top left, which is an early one. I am not sure whether the early reflectors are different, I have fitted a late lens to an early reflector and the pattern seemed OK.
