I've witnessed both, the look of disgust on an iphone user's face on the tube when they see they aren't unique, and when I was in ECP earlier I spotted the bloke over the counter had the same phone as me, and we started talking about which android rom we'd installed, and I gave him some pointers on the one I used as it is stable unlike the one he'd been trying. It was uber geeky.

I also saw this in the paper, and it reminded me of the thread where CitroJim mentioned about an "Uber long" Sprinter that parks in his road/area.

Looking at this article, and this mad way of carrying a car, it's a good thing they were caught out, as a weight like that on a soft surface (not soft enough to save the car from damage) which is not properly secure, could end up causing an accident.

Most intelligent people prefer to transport cars on their wheels, and properly secured.

Relating back to the "Uber long" Sprinter this one they used is not the longest wheelbase Sprinter, therefore it could have fitted in a longer wheelbase version, and it would have been better to use a van version, and not a PCV with windows, which allowed onlookers to wonder what was covered, and shaking in the back.

Surely the damage to the car, the effort required to get it in there, and the time taken to do this was a waste of time, given that the ferry cannot cost more than the damage to the car alone.
