The only reason the picture in the following link is funny is because it is, funnily enough, completely clear of obscuring weather. Other than that it is beautiful;

Appreciated the subtitles as I don't understand Scottish but anything with Karen Gillan in it is worth a watch!*

Actually, the first one is almost an earworm, I read it in "The Eagle" around sixty years ago and it has stayed with me.

Seriously though, I'm a vegetarian because I don't care much for meat. Don't like the taste, or the texture... That's me but I've never quite understood why so many vegetarians want meat substitutes - fake sausages, fake mince and fake bits of Quorn that resemble chicken and so on...

I've tried all those fakes in the past and they're all bloody hideous... They have a flavour all of their own and are very much an acquired taste - one I'm not prepared to acquire at any price..

I believe you can even get vegetarian bacon too

I winder if there are any carnivores who yearn for fake fruit and veg?

If you like fish Jim I will have a word with my Mum, to see if she can remember her recipe for kipper pâté. I quite liked it, which (as I don't like kippers) is somewhat unusual!

I do like fish James but only in its purest state... Ideally just caught and cooked as soon as possible after with the minimum of processing - in many cases I enjoy it raw too
