Whitby Regatta apparently. I avoid it like the plague. It usually falls on my brother's birthday, the only day I visit Whitby now.

One wag said the Lancaster turned up too late, the abbey was in ruins anyway.

Well it's from the BBMF flight, so weather conditions are important to preserve it

That would have been PA474, aka 'City of Lincoln'. There currently are only two Avro Lancaster heavy bombers in airworthy condition (although there are several others around the world being restored), with the other (FM213) being owned and operated by the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum.
