There's an example in this post of a label showing that, in this case, 2.80 was fitted.

Conversely this post shows a label that doesn't have the version printed.

It is known that you cannot revert to an earlier version of firmware once a later version has been fitted. Whether that will be the same for a failed installation is not known.

Hi!

I have the black screen on my 308, i'm used to fix the rt6/rneg units but this time I'm stuck.

New SD Card 16gb, tried 2.86 through USB with no luck (no screen at all), same with 2.80

I noticed on my unit that the CD marking is linked to the 2.75 so I tried finding 2.75 files but seems like it doesn't exist.
I only have the 2.77
This time (with the 2.77) the unit finally "boots" and shows me the peugeot logo with a "CRC Checking" but it ends with a "CRC Error". Tried different usb etc but it is still doing the same. Atleast I know it is "working".
I want to try installing with a CD but the CD player of my unit is actually dead.

I am also thinking my 2.77 files are broken or missing some files. Could you send me also a link of the 2.77 version? @Paul-R

just a quick update, after deleting weird files from my mac, .DS_Store etc it now pass the CRC check but i get stuck after "Disk check.." "Error during flasher loading". I tried multiple sd cards, I want to try a Sandisk but I don't have one atm. I tried Kodak, PNY and Hiksemi... Also tried the original Sandisk SD card but it is faulty and I still get the error

Macs are notorious for dumping a load of hidden files and folders onto removable drives. It's best not to use one if possible but, if not, then all of them need to be deleted. There are apparently programs that can do this. If you're manually deleting them on your card using your Mac can you see the hidden files and folders?

Check your PM in five minutes for 2.77.
