Even when it's a bit of a 'mare - as most Picasso jobs seem to be - it's still good mental therapy when life in other areas is hard...

True Jim very true its good to see some light when your in a dark place , it is nice when its all back up & running at least the oil pressure sensor switch is sorted & you know what was done and you got it working again . I recall my dad doing one on a zephyr i think it was years ago didn't take long to do you could see the whole engine nothing blocked by tons of plastic and bolted on extra exhaust bits lol , unlike now a day !

One of the joys of Bluebell, my AX... Everything is easy to get at :) Bluebell has a tenuous link to your Picasso, she too had a duff oil pressure switch when I first got her...

So everything has been put back the other project i did has been done which was this https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/164364453907 ... edia=EMAIL =D> =D> it works a treat. The clutch pedal feels so much firmer the bite point is lower smoother & no notchey 1st gear too. I fitted the electronic gadget because i like to see what temperature my coolant system get to and is. Wired to an ignition live and a good clean earth.

Yes, the matrix with water in for heating, and the evaporator with (boiling) refrigerant in for cooling.

So as my system was no good can i remove the evaporator ?
The air con has been emptied properly by the dealerships garage into a machine , they said it was virtually empty. I got a rattle from where the matrix things live , if its not connected to the pipes it will have free play ? Wondered what this was rattling . Makes sense now since I've been near the pedals to do the master cylinder too.
