Even when it's a bit of a 'mare - as most Picasso jobs seem to be - it's still good mental therapy when life in other areas is hard...

True Jim very true its good to see some light when your in a dark place , it is nice when its all back up & running at least the oil pressure sensor switch is sorted & you know what was done and you got it working again . I recall my dad doing one on a zephyr i think it was years ago didn't take long to do you could see the whole engine nothing blocked by tons of plastic and bolted on extra exhaust bits lol , unlike now a day !

So everything has been put back the other project i did has been done which was this https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/164364453907 ... edia=EMAIL
it works a treat. The clutch pedal feels so much firmer the bite point is lower smoother & no notchey 1st gear too. I fitted the electronic gadget because i like to see what temperature my coolant system get to and is. Wired to an ignition live and a good clean earth.

Yes, the matrix with water in for heating, and the evaporator with (boiling) refrigerant in for cooling.Huskyxantia wrote: 12 Jan 2024, 17:12 So there's 2 matrix in side one cold the other hot water type ?

So as my system was no good can i remove the evaporator ?RichardW wrote: 12 Jan 2024, 20:25Yes, the matrix with water in for heating, and the evaporator with (boiling) refrigerant in for cooling.Huskyxantia wrote: 12 Jan 2024, 17:12 So there's 2 matrix in side one cold the other hot water type ?
The air con has been emptied properly by the dealerships garage into a machine , they said it was virtually empty. I got a rattle from where the matrix things live , if its not connected to the pipes it will have free play ? Wondered what this was rattling . Makes sense now since I've been near the pedals to do the master cylinder too.

Engine oil level sensor might now have given up as I'm getting top up oil level and no oil ok on the dash , wonder if i might of caught it when changing the clutch master cylinder
