Prices seemed to have started coming down here in Mid Wales. A garage has just advertised their price drops about 40 miles away:

Morrison's and Tesco Still £1.99 for diesel as of yesterday.

I could do with it coming down a bit more for sure. I've got an estimated 50-ish miles worth of diesel left in the tank of the 308 and, as I "only" paid £1.709 per litre in May it's still a bit of a jump!

Hmm, thinking out loud. I have two full five litre fuel cans. That'd be another 130 miles before I have to worry.

At that price it's worth building a pipeline from there down to here so I can fill up cheaper. Still £1.999999999 an eggcup full down here :(

Not of any real interest to me now but our local Tesco is down a little to £185.9.
Filled my car at home 20% to 90% total cost £4.68.............and I didn't have to leave home. :-D
Off today for a service and MOT at the Renault dealer, not something I've done in the last several decades except for the timing belt deal on the C5.

Last week travelling up from Dover to N Wales and back to Dover via the Midlands diesel seems to be glued at 1.99/litre, supermarkets were the same price as on the A14. 2€06 here in France.

Got back to collect it and the receptionist says "I've been trying to ring you, it's failed on drop links........they're £94 each ." , reading the fail notice it says " Anti roll bar link dust cover no longer prevents the ingress of dirt N/ S front."
Same for the O/S.
So it's just the boots. :o Didn't know that was a fail.
I've got a pair of links on the shelf so it's back soon for a free retest.
