That is quite noticeable now I'm not using my phone!

Anyway, I'd still have one!

This is the beast of the W900 that I'd have...cue Smokey and the Bandit music...

Although I do like the Peterbilts too - anyone seen the "Duel" Movie:

We hope that just about everybody will attend

Nope, the communication her about the convoy routre was between me and the committee... The destination and route of the convoy will be revealed on the day and even then the eventual destination is not actually revealed in the route plan. You'll know when you get there what and where it is

Well we have now sorted out our accommodation for the rally and it certainly tied in nicely as we always go to the BCA Campervan/Caravan Auction Sales at Measham anyway.

There was quite a long shortlist (!) and in the end dad bought the last one in the sale!

Campers are making good money ATM. Strangely enough though it was one of the nicest condition ones there too...

Amazingly there was also a Visa in the auction

but I'll put info in another thread about that...

So, the beast in question is a Fiat 'Swift Lifestyle" with the 1.9TD engine. Unlike lots of them it's in lovely condition and has covered a mere 43,000 miles. It's not too big nor small - similar to this one here. Robert, you'll be pleased to know that it has indeed got a nice large awning! Also, our friend is coming along in his Talbot too!
