Any idea if it's possible to see some of the wiring diagrams? There's a special category on the software but I need to log in to some account to see it. Any of you managed to get it or its only for the dealers?

Dealers olny Lucian - normally these are connected to PSA servers, so full diagnostic trees and SEDRE wiring diagrams will link direct from Diagbox. Not with our versions without a dealer account.

I may be able to help with a wiring diagram if you let me know what it is specifically you need to see, what system and the VIN
Thank you very much. Fortunately I have no errors (number plate light doesn't count). So I don't need a wiring diagram for the moment. Just wanted to know if they are accessible via lexia software. Cheers

What are you referring to Boris? We don't sell kits here but there is a for sale and wanted section on the Forum

If you were referring to 'Renegade's' post, that was back on page 65, so usually a good idea to quote the relevant post so we know what it relates to Boris  Most of this thread is dedicated to technical issues and troubleshooting.

Sorry I thought I was on the last post of the thread. My mistake.
However, do you know a source for buying the lexia kit?

While there are several sources of Lexia clones you must make sure to get one with the full optochipset for it to manage the more recent cars. Some of the Chinese clones don't have the full set, and so cannot manage certain cars (C5s, for example). Easy Diagnostics (I will post a link) supply a full chipset Lexia, and have a decent aftercare support as well. Their equipment is NOT cheap, but should work with most PSA vhicles.

By the way, do not be put off by the photo of the circuit board. This is to show it has the full chipset. You do NOT need to do any assembly!

Question for you
My lexia VCI A1281Z with V 7.52 works well on our 2013 C4 Picasso, but will not work on either of my 2 Xantias.
The 9780Z5 VCI with V7.02 worked on the Xantias and also worked on our ex 2010 DS3 1.6 diesel - but obviously not on the C4.
The 9780Z5 VCI with V 7.52 does however work on the Xantias :?
Is this due to the the firmware differences? I do find it strange  that a "fully implemented" VCI will not work on the Xantia; it does not recognise the VCI at all and requests "please connect the VCI". ](*,)
Obviously not a software problem - but what :-k :-k

Hi Harry. This is another example of why I have tried to explain in several posts why it is not always the right thing to upgrade your kit to the latest version of firmware. Firmware can help with current vehicle compatibility as the hardware changes, but it is not always possible to maintain backward compatibility as a result. The Xantia has been in production for 24 years since 1993 to 2001 and the electronics were somewhat different back then. When the C5 came out in 2001 it used CAN / VAN multiplexing with the Mark II going full CAN. It will be often be dependent on the right combination of VCI hardware components and firmware to get a working solution. Also, some of the VCI clones can report themselves as being a 'Revision C' full chip kit, when on opening up the unit, they are obviously missing a lot of the Octocouplers and other components. It can be a mine field, so I guess find a working combo and write it down! :-D

If anyone is interested in this, please direct any further posts / queries to the actual advert in the For Sale / Wanted section:

Diagbox questions.
It does not complete the automatic recognition of the car, it finds the VIN on stage 1 but that's it.
If the drop list of vehicles is used it identifies the vehicle.
I could not get it to recognise the any of the ecu's on the car, it states no dialogue.
When does the ignition need to be on, does the engine need to be running etc.
Also I did notice my wifi link was connecting and disconnecting (may need update)
Basically I've not a clue or idea. :-D

Help please

Hi Kenny

First can you clarify if this is a newly acquired Lexia kit or have you had this exact kit working before on the same car and which car are you having the problems with?

Marc,

Same kit bought from easy diagnostics last year. I had to reinstall it as new bigger hdd fitting to laptop earlier this week.

loaded to 7.57 and installed no problems

for use on C5 x7 and C3 as per signature, No xantias now.

I suspect it will be me not doing things right
