Spotted Xantias! (and other French stuff)

Looked nice - I get a wee pang of excitement when I spot a Xant nowadays!!

Indeed, I know what you mean Graeme - they're starting to get quite scarce... I still see one L reg sinker in regular use in Cranfield but they are the rarest of the lot.

When did you last see an XM on the road though? Now they really are getting a rare sight...

Saw a very clean looking XM Estate VSX (?) dark metalic green reg S42--- (not sure if I should put complete reg no on here) on the A21 near Pembury this afternoon. Driven pretty assertively along the bypass. I didn't have my camera with me though.
The estates look really good on the road, think I prefere them to the hatch in some ways.

I don't usually bother to post about Xaras or Xantias as they are a still common sight around where I live.

Saw just one Xantia today on a 350 mile run between home, Somerset and home again via Reading...

The Xantia I saw was a X reg Silver HDi and the numberplate looked very similar to James HellRazor's. I'm sure the last three letters were identical. Seen heading northbound on the M1 between junction 9 and 10 at about half 5 this evening and fairly toeing it too.

Couldn't have been James as there was not a filcker of recognition when a sliver XM flew past the Xantia in question at a speed somwhere well north of 80mph... Nor any when I backed off and the Xantia flew past me again and disappeared into the night..

Friday evening I followed a silver Xantia from the A2 onto the M25 clockwise, didn't see where it turned off as it went much faster than I wanted to. Registration started S44... Anyone on here?

On the way to IKEA today passed a C6 in black going west


Then at IKEA Croyden saw a nice red Avantime! (I got a dash cam for my birthday!)
