Starting to come into bloom here. Spotted this yesterday.
It is the same as a small one my neighbour has that is growing through the fence into my garden. Always covered in bees.

Re: Picture(s) of the day....
Marshalling bike racing last evening on my favourite corner at the Milton Keynes Bowl...
Unlike a lot of the country, it was bloody freezing. So cold in fact that I got a severe attack of Reynauld's in my hands and fingers
We were subject to almost gale-force North-East winds. So strong the gazebo protecting the timing gear at the start/finish line blew away..
I was dressed in a hoodie, my official puffer jacket and a hi-viz yet ended up so cold I needed to put the car heater on.
As a result, I've been a bit poorly today and still not 100%

Re: Picture(s) of the day....
Commiserations Jim. It is hot here in the sun (38°C) but freezing in the shade.
Had a walk though the local park and explored bits I haven't seen previously. New to the area is my excuse, only been here since 1978.
There is a stream runs the length of it that eventually empties into the Wear. A shame that there are those who feel the need to chuck their rubbish in it and pollute it. Lots of shopping trolleys in there. And in the woods in general.

SWMBO had her aircon regassed and the chap discovered a slight leak in the condenser, he happily gave her a quote to replace it:
I found one for £90 and talked myself into another job, though she'll have to have it recharged after it's done!!

Re: Picture(s) of the day....
Been a couple of days, this thread thrives on activity always best to keep it ticking over...don't let it slumber needs at least one new image a day to justify its moniker.
Didn't make that good a job of a superb photo opportunity. Beautiful Bright I would describe it as liquid orange sun doing its stuff through the canopy on the road ahead. Naked eye didnt see these pictures
