I've got a large box of photos, just chucked in there, so I thought I'd have a dig in and post a few here to keep Neil happy.

Re: Picture(s) of the day....
That is almost identical to the one I had when flying my model aircraft. It was the perfect size to keep my three planes in and I fitted it with a refuelling station which worked a treat. We used to go and fly at a disused quarry west of Dunstable on the way to Ivinghoe and had some great days out in the Yellow Beastie which was the Bedford original rather than the later Daihatsu copy, as it was christened.
I ended up giving it to my daughter when she was at Uni in Exeter and consequently spent a fair few days doing return trips for maintenance and repairs!! Eventually I got fed up with its tempermentalness and installed an electronic ignition dispensing with the points. Far fewer trips then became the order of the day and she ran it for 18 months before swapping it for a Punto with a fellow student who had a drum kit to carry around!!

Suzuki originally Mick, badge engineered by Bedford and in several different names/makes through the years
I haven't got pictures but I sold a couple of new Isuzu vans which were also badged as Bedford Midis.

Re: Picture(s) of the day....
Love those little Suzuki/Bedford vans
I often think, seeing just how massive vans are these days, if such a size is really needed and if a little Suzuki Carry would do the job just as well? How often do those massive vans run with almost empty cargo areas - almost all the time I'll wager...
Didn't Honda produce a similar baby van with a 360cc engine in the rear? I guess both the Suzuki and Honda were originally developed to meet the need for 'Kei' vehicles in Japan - small vehicles more suited to their infrastructure and less highly taxed than full-size vehicles. And hence the wide variety of small and innovative cars originating in Japan. Being a fan of small cars, I love them all...
Shame we don't have the same here...
I can finally offer something to this thread. Maybe not really a picture of the day but definitely dessert of the day
It was delicious!

Looks good Jim, maybe you can nominate the establishment on the Pub of the Day thread.
I think I can allow myself these POTD's in the my Shadows category. Think Sandeman Port man. The subject of these images is not the cars but the shadow of the shutter clicker

And one for Jim. This is the one I mentioned before, the girl drove too fast into a bend, whacked the kerb with it then claimed I'd sold her a dangerous car.

Re: Picture(s) of the day....
I thought I had posted this yesterday under the heading 'A for Alert' on Neil's rapid A-Z thread but it seems to have gone missing unless I did my usual and previewed it without subsequently submitting it!!
However this is an unashamed pointer in case you have missed the new thread I started and pointed to in the Meeting Arrangements thread, so my first POTD is a glimpse of what I hope you will eventually find by clicking this link!

Re: Picture(s) of the day....
Here we have a nice image of an iconic car, and a decent steering wheel shadow, and the bonus of being the work of Karen Roe, to fit in with my self-imposed Merry Month of May subject matter on my POTD submissions.
It you want to do a little reading about the Austin Pedal Cars, Austinworks.com does the job well.
