The fruit scones at the new Ad Gefrin Distillery at Wooler Northumberland come with Gibbo country butter, Tiptrees Essex Jam, and Rodda’s Cornish Clotted Cream. Very nice but too many food miles,
Neil

My only proper connection to those is that as a teenager I used to go to my cousin's in Rayleigh for a week during the summer holidays, and on 2 or 3 evenings of that week my Uncle would take us strawberry picking in Tiptree. An evenings work earned 10/- and all the strawberrys you could eat!! In those days 10/- was my weekly pocket money so by the end of that week I would have enough to buy a scalextric car or maybe a Hornby loco!!
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!
Nope, never heard of them.
And if I see a label with "Organic" on it I know it is likely to be the same stuff as usual with a higher price.
Like buying water in a plastic bottle (more waste) instead of out of the tap.
Ad Geffrin is only recently opened, good time to visit. Car park machines not commissioned 6 Ev Charging spaces not fully commissioned, and access to the a very decent cafe bit with outdoor seating without having to fork out an entrance fee. Been open about a month now. The Distillery is in Wooler right next to the A697. Ad Gefrin itself was the palace of King Edwin of Northumbria in the 7th Century near Kirknewton. Yes its a big field with a plaque in a bit of walling! in 2023.

Mick's been pretty close to Netherend we met at a pub just along the road.
I sold a car to a lady from there, desperate because she had parked her car in a London street and had it 'stolen', the police found the car a few weeks later where she had left it. She was lost not the car.

...degree of difficulty Haynes one spanner...suitable for the novice with little experience
I have a feeling, without the visual assistance left deliberately in, it could have proved to be a 5-spanner job--suitable for the expert FCF wheresthisthener? or professional.
wheresthisthen? The clock unusually for a church clock has "ordinary" Numbers on it (not that it was showing the right time!)
Just how under-rated is the corrugated iron, stone wall, and blue sky combo, and its mix of textures, colours and shapes as a subject of shutter clicking interest
That's quite stunning Neil... Until I had a good clearout of my feed, I used to see posts from a Facebook Group called the Corrugated Iron Appreciation Society... Worth a look for lots of artistic views of the subject
