guys,
appreciate your prompt response, however, apart from a bhp curve, has anyone seen a torque chart for the 16V before?
the ACAV is teh one that gives the power, would modifying the air intake to an open pod affect it or the AFM/MAP??

the acav bit annoys me as its so big and complicated and on the 167bhp model they went back to the old simple style manifold as on the earlier 1.9 16v bx and 405 mi16

Darren,
I see your point about the that.
However, also heard that the exhaust tend to have leaks from the gasket over in Europe for the XU9J4 engines - which can be a little annoying as well.
Personally, I prefer the old intake steel manifolds than the plastic ones as well.
