worth noting that with lpg youl get less mpg than petrol, so if the government increase the tax on it (not even to petrol prices but a certain % of petrol prices) youl be paying more than to run a petrol + the price of the conversion. nice.
plus the governmnet have only freezed the price of lpg until something like end of 2004.
get a diesel.

There are grants available for cars up to about 5 years old, I think it is 50% or so. I would go along with JonD though, once enough people have stumped up the money the tax will go up just as it did with diesels, one of my friends ran a DS on LPG years ago and it went OK as far as I remember
