Fuel filter replacement on a 2007 Citroen C4 1.4 16v

I recently started having issues with my 2007 Citroen C4 1.4 16v, and my initial thought is it has something to do with the fuel delivery system, more precisely, a potentially clogged fuel filter.

Main symptoms are:

• Losing power when applying throttle (especially on the initial start in first gear, cold engine)
• Shaking when under load, similar to a stall. (also on initial start)
• A bit higher fuel consumption than usual

How can I check and replace the fuel filter on this model? I couldn't find any info online.

As I have just started learning about car mechanics as a side hobby, I am asking for advice to see if my assumption is justified, and if so, what is the best way to replace the filter myself.

Before you do any changing of parts, it really needs to be properly diagnosed. Those symptoms can be down to anything air or fuel related, so better to get a diagnostic with Diagbox done first and then put any fault codes up here with your VIN.
