2011 clio 1.2 gearchange issues

Hello I've got this 1.2 petrol manual it works fine mostly but all of a sudden it becomes difficult to select some gears mostly 2nd and 3rd but sometimes you can't get out of neutral into any gears even reverse its a weird one and not came across this before anyone any ideas whats going on ?thanks

I'd suspect 2 things, low oil in gearbox (drain and replace) or clutch going down and not separating the plates properly. but that's just me without looking.
