RD4 aux problem

Post by DMAVRILAS »

Hi all. I have C5 iii 2008 16v 2,0 lt engine. I brought it as used june 2022. Looking for aux in my Rd4 unit I see cables coming from connector part B, pins 1,2 and 7 towards the interior of the car. However no sockets for aux founded either in glovebox or in the box between the front seats. In the radio menu aux input can't be shown. Is it possible to find the terminal of the aux cables? Where should I look?

Thanks in advance

If you have AUX fitted at factory it will be in the Glovebox.

The RD4 came in 2 versions mono and dual tuners, which determined the number of inputs it could handle. IF you didn't have the AUX fitted at factory, then there won't be the connector in the glovebox and it won't be enabled in the BSI. It has to be enabled in the BSI to be available in the Head Unit menu.
