he was after over £900 on ebay for it, seeing as I am the most keen Xantia owner we have here I wouldn't have payed over £400 for it to go on my V6 considering Xantias aren't worth a huge amount. I know for a fact citroen dont run any Xants at all any more.

I used to own a BX TZD whose number plate read BX I****. I sold it to a guy who used to be very active on this forum. Wonder if it's still running???

Still cant get personal Reg no's in UK ?
At least we can here in DK - up to 9 (?) alphanumerics I believe.
They are a bargain though : £650 is the fee for such a pleasure [}:)]

Not as such Anders no.
Older plates are Letter number (number number) letter letter letter
So people try to make words out of them. Or go for ones with their initials (like me & Mr.B)
Some og the UK plates go for stupid money whichmakes your £650 cheap. F'instance my mate Ivan wanted 1 SH (ISH) - £20,000 not including the car.

Even @ £550 it's worth more than most Xantias!

Think to the future!! When the Xantia becomes a sought after classic motor....how cool to have that reg.

Sadly not a 16V owner anymore Andy, poor bloke had it stolen a while back, though he keeps retention of the plate I believe.
