NG4 compatibility with CarPlay or Mirrorlink

Hi all , please let me know if my Citroen C5 X7 2016 navigation system ( as shown in attached pics) has ability to connect to apple carplay and accept mirroring.thaks a lot.

I have created a new topic as it’s not relevant to replacing the Hard Drive.

Simply, No. The NG4 was released in about 2009 and had already been in development years before, so is not compatible with CarPlay or Mirrorlink or AndroidAuto. CarPlay was not released until about 2014.

Thanks dear for your quick reply, your logic opinion convinced me stop searching for how to connect my NG4 Navigation radio to either carplay or auto android .so ,my last question is which android touch screen do you advice to use in my C5 specially the current system is used for only radio channels and making calls even I can't buy Egypt maps anywhere!! It's like a piece of decoration.

I can’t advise on an aftermarket unit. I only support original systems.

Some here have fitted an aftermarket ‘Joying’ Android system, so you’ll have to have search on the Forum.
