Today I have been able to run Embedded XP's interface inside the lexia and add USB support for keyboard, removable drive and hub (hub is needed for usb mouse+keyboard+drive with only one usb port).
PS: I post message regularly, so if someone gets in trouble with his lexia2, he could maybe find information in this post.

Re: Lexia2 & Diag2000
Are you still working with your Lexia2? I was given one without the CD's and it does the exact same thing Cranor's - the IHMWIN error on CW3215.dll.
I'm wondering how you connected a PS2 keyboard to it? Through the RS232 port? and also how you were able to make your own lan and USB cable? Do you have any documentation on that? I tried connecting a USB keyboard via a PCMCIA USB card, but that didn't work. Is there anything you need to do to activate the PCMCIA connection? For the moment, my Lexia sticks on a grey page that says "please wait" (in Dutch)...
I'm aware you last post was in 2012, but maybe...

Cranor was last active April 2017, so may pick up your post if he is still subscribed to the thread.

Good evening, could you tell me how you got into Windows XP and how you made the usb connection? Thank you.

Not quite sure I understand your question. The USB drivers are installed once the VCI is connected to the laptop.

Re: Lexia2 & Diag2000
Remember this thread is referring to Lexia 2.
I think they are asking how to get into the windows system as it automatically switches onto Lexia.
The VCI is integrated into the device, the lead that plugs into the car is just a bunch of wires unless you have the later additional lead for full CAN vehicles, this has a little interface on it.

Re: Lexia2 & Diag2000
My recollection is that Jim never managed to make it work due to the Lexia 2 using some non standard I/O devices (or bios) and the Lexia software would not run on standard PC hardware.
