I'm afraid she reads far too much in the wrong websites.
I would reply that one of the long term problems with COVID-19 is death (as over 100,000 people in the UK have found).

I'm sure that the risk of having it is far less than not having it.

Fully agree with that Peter ;)

Indeed, and for a significant number of survivors, their recovery is complicated by the ME-like Long Covid... This is truly debilitating and results in significant difficulties for those unfortunate enough to suffer from it... The road to recovery, and unlikely to be a full one, can be very protracted and bumpy...

I know only too well, having lived with ME for over ten years now...

Having a daughter in the medical profession is valuable... She is in no doubt about the vaccine and despairs of all the naysayers...

It helps to do some research and take some time to understand how the vaccines work.

My youngest going for hers tomorrow night. She is only 35 and as fit as a fiddle but the job she does is seen as a hazardous one. Embalmer. All funeral directors staff will get it early.

Took my wife in for her first shot today. I'm starting feel a bit better and will feel even better in three weeks time.

I just got my shoulder stabbed with the Oxford AstraZeneca vaccine. But of a problem happened when the needle went in too far and hit the release latch holding the arm bone to the shoulder bone, causing my arm to fall off. Still, plenty of medical people around who could re-attach my arm, so that's alright.

I hope they used the proper materials to reattach it. I believe that the BMS recommend vinegar and brown paper.

If it was the AZ soup you may be in trouble.
Although we may be immune as we are no longer in the EU.

Well that's me done, second one this morning. The nurse asked if I'd had any side effects from the first, I said "none," she says "you might from this one, sore arm and flu symptoms for a couple of days." :(

My first injection was trouble free but the second gave me flue like symptoms but only for about 12 hours. That was the Pfizer.
