I remember a program about Rolls-Royce, and there was (at the time) the most expensive Rolls Royce ever made (it was a one off), and the head lining was made to represent the night sky over Goodwood at midnight on the day the Phantom was first revealed.

I did the tracking today and it was out just a tad on the passengers side , now my steering wheel has lined up nicely !

I did the string and tape measure old skool way . Went for a spin after and it felt better and was straight when I drove with no hands a nice line for 50 yards all straight !
Renewed some orings on the inlet box area brakes feel a bit better as well , might be me being to fussy .

Strong money for a 405 that's been in a sweaty cold concrete garage for 8 years... The tin worms may well have enjoyed quite a banquet by now...

The significance of the special registration plate is unfortunately lost on me...

£20 tops I'd say, especially as it has the 1.6 petrol engine with a dodgy clutch... The engine was a bit marginal in such a large car...

Or are 405 estates now VERY desirable?

Don't get me wrong, I love the 405 dearly and have owned two in the past. They are very fine cars indeed... I just feel £200 for this example is a bit rich...

50 squid tops if you really want one and that would be if you wanted a donor vehicle or had a donor. Also he's stated that it needs 'unloading', so it's been used as a shed so the interior will probably be boogered.

He's got other bits for same car.
I got the door mirror off this seller for £7, mines getting old

Me as well thought that was to steep for an old car in a garage engines don't like being stood for years.

Change of car, I used the Picasso yesterday and something happend, got home checked my CCTV had an image of a man walking up the drive disappear behind the car then walk off down the drive , result screw in the rear wheel , its in hands of the police now, I know the culprit and a person of such age ??? WTF as they say.
Anyway .... The reason for this post is the car felt like it was being starved of air and underpowered when the weathers fine it runs ok,
Any thoughts ?

I've lived where I am for nearly 9 years and have brought and sold quite a few cars don't keep em to long Skoda's Vauxhall Citroen (most reliable) and everyone of the cars has had the same thing same side same screw type. When it first occured i took no notice the first one could of happened anywhere then when it got 3rd,4th and the wife then saying you know what your right this is now being done on purpose, This time the Picasso but its taken the gutless little short arse 10 months to do it under the cover of darkness , this person is one of those who thinks they own everything in the street if you know what i mean , I worked out earlier I've spent just shy of £200 in repairs and so on .

I've even had wheels deflated , I mean that takes time and I've had enough .

Can't wait for the police to get back in touch.

AND a suspended sentence for criminal damage (24 months, suspended for 36 months). That way, if they repeat offend in the 36 month period they will serve prison time.

Honestly, behaviour like that is totally beyond my understanding and I really hope he gets the book thrown at him...

On the other subject Husky, In my many years of running PSA vehicles I've felt they can be quite sensitive to prevailing atmospheric conditions. My experience is that they go like they're supercharged on cold, crisp days and on damp, dreary days like today they seem sluggish and not at all enthusiastic...

Not only does it affect engines but runners and cyclists experience the same effect too... High and low atmospheric pressure maybe?
