2009 C5 Auto Trans oil change

Just needing some info on procedure for changing auto trans oil-(level fill plugs ,is there a filter ect.) to prolong it's life, the service history book that came with the car, said that the oil was quite black, and to change often till it became clear.Can someone help with this .Cheers. There are plenty of topics already on this. Do you have the AM6 box? Pop your VIN up if unsure.

Don't forget you MUST reset the oil counter after changing the oil, so will need Diagbox or a compatible diagnostic system to do that. It will ideally need to be done over 3 changes as you can never empty the torque converter, so only 3 out of the 7 litres can be changed at any one time.

Ok, so you have the DW40CTED4 engine with AM6 gearbox, so yes, follow the guide in the links I gave you.

As you have a Euro 5 engine and gearbox, you'll need AW1 transmission oil or equivalent NOT JWS3309 which is only to be used for Euro 4 vehicles.

Hi Marc,have a slight vibration or wobble through steering wheel over 100 kmh. (mainly down hill) when braking, on our 2010 c5 hdi,just wondering if any has an idea what to look for, -disc rotor? or I suspect not wheel balance as it only happens when braking. Cheers Mark.
