Fuses missing voltage

Post by CITROENC5100 »

Hello everyone, so my citroen c5 x7 diesel 100kw is going crazy and won't start and shows parking brake system faulty but that system works just fine. I figured out in my fuse box that this fuse isn't getting any voltage and fuse is perfectly fine what should i check next to give that fuse voltage or i should replace my fuse box under bonnet right away and don't try to search problems any further?

The fuse box in the engine bay has been known to be a cause of similar faults to this.
You may be able to extract it and check for damage - usually corroded and burned pins.
Post your VIN so that we can check exactly that you have. Type in the VIN, don't post a photo as that can be picked up by people that do not have your best interests at heart.
The VIN will only be readable by forum staff.

We will need your VIN, to get the correct part number and circuit diagram.

There are at least 4 places of supply for the EPB system:

Maxi Fuse 8 (Engine Fuse Box)
BSI (F8 20A)
BPCB Fuse box (F04 30A)
BFDB Fuse Box (F09 30A)

There is only one Engine Fuse box part number now for the X7, which has replaced all previous part numbers. The latest part number is:
9807028580

That's OK, - confirmed correct fusebox part number as per my previous post.

But you really need to get Diagbox on it first to see if there is a specific issue - rather than replacing the fusebox. Check your battery health - a weak battery can casue ots of problems with the C5 including starting, locking etc.
