Luxury Barges? C6 on slide 1

Post by NewcastleFalcon »

Have a flick through this, Autocar have picked out a gallery of.....

The Glorious History of French Luxury Barges

Define a "barge" how you like, I mean is a Renault 16 really a "barge" Autocar....

So ever owned a barge? or fancied a barge, or scanning through the classics what are the reasonably priced barges which catch your eye?

The epitome of the barge genre, and a lovely two tone at that

I think Alasdair reported the above post as Spam accidentally! Possibly a Specsavers issue with the buttons? :-D Anyway I've removed the report.

An acquaintance has a Vel Satis this last 10 years, bought it for pennies because of the high tax. Very unattractive and the car isn't much better.

The Vel Satis was an odd looker... How about the Fluence - which I think was part of Renault's EV line-up?

Another one on the barge list this, in its Renault Rambler form, appreared on that Autocar slide show, the least French looking car for obvious reasons on that particular list.
