Quite surprised that "69" plates were issued at all.

Yes, my 69 spotting reputatation is in tatters. Turns out the Toyota Hybrid sported the other day was nothing of the sort it was in fact a Honda Civic. pic later

Also saw a definite vehicle from the PSA stable. A black Vauxhall Astra.

there is a 69 renault captur down the road from me in portreath with a Wonky rear number plate! will try and snap it next time passing,

It is odd that BJ69 got by Swansea's sometimes difficult to fathom censureship criteria - but "The matter came to a head" was an unfortunate expression to use in the story.

When I'm driving I rarely look for number plates, or even car types, so naturally miss most.
I do have to walk a few miles to and from the workshop that fixes the families cars and try and keep a lookout but have singularly failed to see a 69 yet.

Yes they go 19, 69, 20, 70, 21, 71 probably confused you with my edited title! I'll put it right!
