Ok, here goes another simple question[:D]
What seats do you find the most comfortable in the Citroën range?
Who knows? i might swap the C5 ones in the end[;)]

Francisco,
The main problem with C5 seats is that they don't provide enough lateral support. You do not "get into the seat" and this affect the comfort on normal ride and especially while cornering at higher speeds.
Citroen Xantia mk2 Exclusive leather seats and Activa electric leather seats are in my opinion the best ever made by Citroen.
XM mk2 Exclusive seats are also very good, altough not so good as the Xantia ones, and they are probably more expensive.
It is important that they are mk2 because the quality of the leather improved considerably.
Do you have an idea of the price of a pair of new XM/Xantia seats?
Maybe it would be cheaper to swap the C5 for a Xantia or a XM than only the seats... [}:)]
Cumprimentos!

TBird, somehow, i just knew this topic would be appealing to you[:D]
I do find lack of lateral support, having to make my spine muscles work overtime, which is something i can't afford sometimes due to my back problems. That and lumbar support, even C5 leather seats are the same.
My mom is very keen on the C5, and for what she's worth on the market, whe're better off keeping her.
If only the seats were interchangeable. Hmmmmmm
Is the lateral airbag compatible between Xantia MkII seats and the C5 ones?
Alright, more opinions[:)], come on!
PS: Thunderbird, have you considered the XM or the Xantia?

The seats in the AX Dimension are bl***y awful.
I have contemplated swapping the drivers seat for one out of a ZX (which were ok) but the clearance between my lardy thighs and the steering wheel is poor now, and fitting a bigger seat will only make it worse.
The Xantia has standard Velour jobbies, and they are rather nice, though lumbar support could be better I suppose.

I'll have a pair of Xantia Exclusive leather seats for sale in a month or two. They are attached to a 2.0 Turbo (petrol) estate but the seats are probably worth more than the car is with 100k on the clock (well at UK used prices anyway).
The electrics work but the seat heaters have both recently packed up.[:(]
But Jon is of course correct, the GSA seats were the best especially after a bit of wear.
