Thanks, happened once, but seems ok now, and I didn't change anything my end ie by making an exception for the FCF site to get over the problem.

There was a major outage at our hosting company last night.
At around midnight the hardware node that hosts our forum (and many other web-servers) suffered a failure (software only I believe) that needed a hard reset to recover. The recovery was delayed for about 2 hours because there were some problems with the disk file system.

Unfortunately after the support team thought that they had brought everything back up, they missed our VPS, and it was totally dead, not even the recovery console was responding. After raising another support ticket with them, they have done something that has got it going again.

The timing of this was unfortunate, because we were due to be moved to a different hardware node last week, and if that had happened on schedule, this outage would not have affected us at all. I am still expecting a brief outage one morning next week when we are moved to the new hardware node.

BTW, the security error message was due to me attempting to redirect traffic to another site with a status message, but I was foiled by anti-spoofing security software.
