Hello, I wasn't too far from home this evening when the accelerator hit the floor and stayed there.
Popped cable? I stopped and looked under the bonnet to find it still fully in place there so a look at the pedal end revealed the truth! The white nylon end link had come out of the pedal end and when refitted lasted another 3 miles before it came off again...

My cable seems fine - not stiff or anything just that this little plastic bit has lost its retaining pegs. I've bodged it together for now but keen to source a replacement - Anyone have one?
I might try Euro car parts or AEP tomorrow but doubt they'll carry it.

Ah sounds good - Might have a butchers tomorrow. The cable is fine to be honest it's just that little white clip off the end.
