I knew that I should have checked before posting above

It seems that the check boxes are missing for devices win small screen mode, so they are visible on my tablet, but not on my phone either.

Not sure if we can do anything about that, but I will investigate further.
I have played with it again, and it does actually work with Firefox browser on my 5" android phone (not tried other browsers).

The check boxes are initially invisible, but if you click on one of the images, the check boxes appear, and votes can be cast. The page rendering is a bit odd, but it does seem to work.

The odd rendering may be because the images are larger than the screen size.

I've just tested it on my iPhone 6 Plus using Safari and I can see the check boxes IF I turn the screen to Landscape view - in Portrait it just shows the images. Ditto for Opera.

It may help some folk to adjust the contrast settings on the screen - I struggled to make out the pale grey boxes against a brilliant white screen

Using opera Browser, no check-boxes visible - egh!!!, however, can see them if I copy and past into Google chrome, so I have voted.

However, I was really happy when the UK tax disc was no longer to be displayed and I would probably not get something else to stick on the windscreen in its place, but then again I do not like things stuck on windows anyway :? . Has anyone decided on the size of either?

I used to be a paid member of the 'C4 Owners" and their Chrome sticker looked great on the rear bumper of my C4.

has anyone thought which side the adhesive will be....

ie.
self adhesive on the face for fixing inside the glass
or
self adhesive on the rear for fixing to the bodywork (!!) or outside of the glass

The small round one was to replace the old tax disc. so would be internal. As for the rear sticker, we'll need to decide that. If going on the inside rear window - there could be issues with the heated window elements, but having it on the outside rear window glass will likely mean it will come off with washing and will fade a bit quicker. Personally, I would never have a sticker on the actual bodywork of the car - I don't like them on the bumpers or anywhere else like that - especially if you have the body-colour painted bumpers and trim - but that's just my own opinion. Once we get the designs finalised, we can look at the options from the suppliers.

Actually, after looking at the samples again: There doesn't seem to be such a big issue with the heating element - it only covers a small part of one of them.

Stu, don't know if you saw the mock ups - the sizes of the paper samples are on the post underneath the pics. Tax Disc sizes are pretty standard and I just looked at some supplier sites and picked a size that wasn't too big - as you wouldn't want to block the rear view too much (assumed that these would be going on rear screen).

Cling stickers would resolve the HRW and adhesive issue.

That was my thinking too Chris, something easily removable and that's the type I've been getting some quotes for - but some suppliers aren't doing the vinyl type any more. We'll look at options next week.

Thanks for the pointer, no I had not seen any of that, I do not visit the forum that often, usually when I have a bit of time on my hands and I was on holiday when this all started up.

Anyway yes the rectangular option does not seem too bad GiveMeABreak wrote: "Ok, so the Disc is 7.5cm x 7.5cm (to enable fitting inside an old disk holder) and the rear window sticker hasn't changed 5cm H (1.97") x 25cm W (9.84")" but I agree with xantiamanic wrote "Personally I think at nearly 10" it's a tad on the long side that's all ...", 25 cm is getting long, but I think shortening it may ruin the aesthetics without making it narrower which would make it less visible and therefore, no point to having it in the first place.

Thanks for the input Stu - it's all about getting a balance and something that will work for most without needing to get it off with a chisel or blocking the rear window. :-D

They'd all look better with the DS logo removed.

I saw it said the poll runs until Oct 4th, so assumed it was still current
