Xantia rear parcel shelf

I've had three Xantias and all of them have had trouble with the draw strings to connect to the hatch. The curent car has one good one but the other was broken with a draw string connected to the shelf just by a stopper a previous owner added. Then a few weeks back at the recycling centre it got caught (douesn't retract with elastic) and got pulled straight out causing one of the halves of the 'eyelet thing' in the shelf to ping away to oblivion. I was wondering if anyone has a replacement black plastic eyelet for the shelf. It comes in 2 parts that kind of click together from each side of the shelf. Anyone have one going?

If it's the later design on your S1, it'll likely be this type. Number 3 - Part 95669055. May be worth a call to see if they have any available!

Thanks for the info but it's different to this design - the item no. 3 is basically the bit in question but it is a two part thing with one half under the shelf and one on the top. I wonder if this later desu=ign fits on the earlier parcel shelf..

Hi Graeme - Here's the other one listed until RPO 07875 - yes from Citroen Service.

They are the same for the S2s aswell.

Right o Marc, yes it is the second picture here and it is part 3 shown. I feel like I'm covering an old topic by asking this but is the service site available to non- trade people? I am certain I joined up on it about 4-5 years ago when it first became available but then some sort of term changed and I was no longer able to access it. Actually at the time I think is was also incomplete and you could only see a portion of these diagrams. It's a pretty useful resourse for these odd parts.
