I had the Berlingo remapped, it's gone from 90bhp to a dyno'd 123bhp and 201lb/ft of torque.
Haven't had chance to drive it much until today due to sending other parts away for refurb.
What a difference! I can use a higher gear, thus lower revs almost everywhere and it gives a genuine shove in the back when you ask it to.
Well worth the money - HDi-Tuning.co.uk, Chris570 gave me the idea to use them.

Had our XM 2.5TD done by Superchips back in 2001. Don't have any dyno figures, but one of the in-gear acceleration times I plotted reduced from 18secs to 11. Fuel consumption improved by 2mpg.
Agree about being altogether more responsive and a pleasure to drive.

The remap is great. It makes it so much more usable. It's also reasonably quicker...
Today I couldn't resist a little childish experiment. I downloaded a 0-60 timer app, and gave it a go.
I got a time of 10.8 seconds, which is 2.3 seconds faster than "stock" without abusing the clutch. That's the same official figure as a new Xantia HDi 110 would do, when being abused by a magazine road tester, and faster than a Golf Mk4 1.9 TDi.
It's the in - gear pull that's impressive though.
Driven normally, it's about 5mpg better than before the map. Driven enthusiastically, it's , er, not.

It's about 5mpg better off driven as I usually drive Jim - 51mpg. I put this down to being in a higher gear at lower revs (it'll potter at 35 in 5th happily now where it would need 4th or even 3rd on a slight incline before).
If I drive it like a tit, it's about the same as driving it like a tit before the remap, seems to be 37-38mpg.
As I said, it's the torque that's the best bit. It goes like an HDi Xantia between 50 and about 75, until the aerodynamics start to affect it.
I'd imagine it would still be pulling at well over it's official 99mph top speed, if one was to try....

I knew there had to be an advantage to having ECU's (remember when the "E" stood for engine - 'cos there was only the one?)
