Re: What is your favourite French car
Just had a look at the detailed forecast for here, and after showers at 11am becoming g dry and sunny but cold. Wrap up well then hopefully get rears done and wheels back on with their brand new uniroyal rain sports in size 215/45x17 on. That should make it stick to the road!

Re: What is your favourite French car
Well I have to say at the moment my wicked red Xsara Picasso 2.0HDi, very happy with it.
Images of enjoying the Cote D'Azur in a bright and cheery open-topped car, sum up for me "motoring pleasure". So to recreate it I would have to get a Renault Floride as per the picture and paint it bright yellow
Regards Neil

Re: What is your favourite French car
If I could have absolutely any French car, probably a Citroen SM.
In the real world though, Mk I Renault 25 Monaco.

Not including Citroens the obvious Citroens (a GSX3, DS Convertible, SM or CX Prestige), well I am on my 13th.
I always liked the Renault 16TX, before ever owning a Citroen, for what I can remember, the ride was just great.
or
Or the Renault 4 van, I had one of these when I used to do Crypton Tuning, very good workhorse, weird umbrella gear stick, had to change a timing chain on it once so rather than taking the engine and gearbox out, the gearbox was infront of the engine, I spent about an hour cutting a hole in the baulk head, job was done it a fraction of the time it should have taken.
Also the way the suspension was, if you overloaded it it would just get lower to the ground on all four corners!
But then again there is
