Alasdair,
That's what I thought but a clutch change at 70,000 miles to me seems like some heavy footwork.
My xantia is still on the original!

Re: Well I've done It
Well done almost 900 miles over the last few days and it would appear the consumption was just over 10miles to the litre.
It was all types of driving town, country and traffic jams on the M5.
Had issues with coffee holder positions!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Well I've done It
Best I have achieved is 10.48mpL on a 700 mile run to St. Leonards and 10.9 when my son took it to Scotland a few weeks ago.KennyW wrote:Well done almost 900 miles over the last few days and it would appear the consumption was just over 10miles to the litre.

Normally hovers around 7mpL but that is all short trips locally.

Impressive and an interesting mix of metric and imperial measures to get a very meaningful measure of fuel consumption. I like it!KennyW wrote:just over 10miles to the litre.
